I can close it any way, but if its undocked, closing it will dock it and then you have to close it again.

You need to be more specific.

And that bug comes from options trying to register irc:// links .. nothing to do with hightlights :p

Yeah, it looks like all dockable windows are kinda fcked.

I have no problems closing highlights, dcc or rawlog, they will dock if undocked, and they will close if docked, thats by design.

Can you be more specific.

Also that error is unrelated to closing a window.
