closedTray Icon keeps flashing

Description
Hello again..
I've this problem already at every debug build...Tray Icon keeps flashing, even when I read the channel/private message where I was notified for...
I can only stop the flashing by switching to another channel window / pm / server window and switch back again on the channel / pm window in question.
Please fix this bug...because it's so annoying and I can't ignore it anymore :<
I'm using 1.8.8 170311-1 ATM on Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7

Thank you for reporting, i completely forgot about this feature.
I take it you mean the tray icon switching between black and white, i made some changes in latest beta, could you try and see if it behaves better now?
Also, please report any other annoying issues you might encounter, sometimes issues popups in places i never thought to test :)

Im using build 200311 now..it works well atm..but i need more time to check it...

OK, when I lock the screen with <windows> + L and login again and someone send me an pm, the the trayicon keeps flashing black and white. It can be only stopped when I maximalize and minimalize (to tray) the window of AdiIRC, and swapping the pm tab with another channel/pm/server tab and back.

Very odd, i cant replicate this.
I made a few changes in latest beta, try if that helps :)
