h1. Downloads
* *AdiIRC is freeware*, _not open source_.
* All major Windows Operating Systems are supported: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 or Server 2008/2012, both 32-bit and 64-bit.
* It requires Microsoft .NET 4.0 Runtime or higher installed, you can download it "here":https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851 or get it from WindowsUpdate. Our installer will also offer the install for you.
_It is included by default on Windows 8/8.1/10+._

h2. Virus Disclaimer
_Antivirus flags AdiIRC as having a virus or trojan._
AdiIRC seems to generate a lot of false positives in some antivirus programs, if possible, please submit the file to your antivirus vendor for false positive analyzes, so the vendor can improve detection, your software, and/or white-list AdiIRC.exe.
If you are unsure, the false positives seems to be resolved after a few weeks, you can try update again then. Also be free to scan AdiIRC executable on "VirusTotal"://www.virustotal.com, there are over 50 virus scanners, usually a tiny amount of engines are flagging it, a strong indication it is a false-positive.
