 h1. Monitor Panels Options 
 Monitor panels can be enabled from the View menu in [[Menubar_Control|Menubar]]. Menubar. 
 The panels can be docked almost anywhere and is always visible regardless of what window is currently active, which can be useful for monitoring many channels at once.

 Enable or disable the channel messages monitor

 Enable or disable the server messages monitor

 Enable or disable the private messages monitor 
 h2. Monitor Notice 
 Enable or disable the notice messages monitor 
 h2. Monitor Highlights 
 Enable or disable the highlights monitor 
 h2. Monitor Urls 
 Enable or disable the url monitor 
 h2. Save and restore Private 
 If enabled, private monitor messages will be saved on exit and loaded on start. 
 h2. Save and restore Notice 
 If enabled, notice monitor messages will be saved on exit and loaded on start. 
 h2. Save and restore Highlights 
 If enabled, highlight monitor messages will be saved on exit and loaded on start. 
 h2. Save and restore Urls 
 If enabled, url monitor messages will be saved on exit and loaded on start. 
 h2. Ignore duplicate lines 
 If enabled, duplicate lines will be excluded from the monitor panels. 
 h2. Exclude active window 
 If enabled, channel/query messages on current active window will be excluded from the monitor panels. 
 h2. Prioritize top to bottom panels 
 If enabled, all vertical monitor panels will have priority over the horizontal monitor panels and use the full height of the "MDI area":https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_document_interface, otherwise the horizontal panels will have the full width of the "MDI area":https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_document_interface. 
 h2. Show Scrollbar 
 Shows or hides the scrollbars in Monitor Panels (excluding Server/Channel monitor panels). 
 h2. Channel buffer 
 Maximum size of the channel monitor buffer. 
 h2. Server buffer 
 Maximum size of the server monitor buffer. 
 h2. Private buffer 
 Maximum size of the private monitor buffer. 
 h2. Notice buffer 
 Maximum size of the notice monitor buffer. 
 h2. Highlights buffer 
 Maximum size of the highlights monitor buffer. 
 h2. Url buffer 
 Maximum size of the url monitor buffer. 
 h2. Timestamp format 
 Sets the timstamp format to use for the *Time* column. 
 _Changes only applies to new entries._ 
 _Server and channel monitor uses the regular messages timestamp format._

 Show or hide the nickcolumn in server messages monitor.

 When a user is kicked from a channel, show or hide the message in the channel monitor.
