h1. Toolbar

The toolbar allows performing various actions based on clicking icons.

_Note: right-clicking some icons gives quick access to more features such as server history/favorites and channel favorites._

h2. Hiding the Toolbar

The Toolbar can be hidden by clicking [[Menubar_Control|Menubar]] -> View -> Toolbar or by typing [[/toolbar]] off or by changing [[Options Dialog|Options]] -> [[Windows Options|Windows]] -> [[Windows_Options#Enable-Toolbar|Enable Toolbar]] or by right-clicking the Toolbar and then clicking *Hide Toolbar*.

h2. Modifying the Toolbar

The [[/toolbar]] command can be used to add/edit/remove any toolbar icon. To have any changes persistent, put the commands in a [[on START]] script.

There is also a graphical drag/drop editor for the built-in icons which can be accessed by right-clicking in the Toolbar and clicking *Customize*.

h2. Media player icons

Media player icons are only visible when the [[Media_Player_Options|media player]] is set to Winamp/Media Monkey/iTunes or Spotify.

The default icons can be changed in [[Options DIalog|Options]] -> [[Icons Options|Icons]].

h2. Toolbar position

The Toolbar can be moved to the top/bottom/left/right of the main window by right-clicking the Toolbar then clicking *Position*.

h2. Locking bars

[[Menubar_Control|Menubar]]/[[Toolbar_Control|Toolbar]]/[[Switchbar_Control|Switchbar]]/[[Treebar_Control|Treebar]] can be locked so they can't be moved by right-clicking any bar and then click *Lock Bars*.

Locking bars also removes the header from the [[Monitor Panels]].

h2. Colors

The Toolbar background color can be set in [[Options Dialog|Options]] -> [[Colors Options|Colors]].

_Note: [[Colors_Options#Override-Windows-theme-colors|Override Windows theme colors]] must be enabled._

h2. Font

The font can be changed in [[Options DIalog|Options]] -> [[Fonts_Options|Fonts & Sizes]] or by using the [[/font]] command.

h2. Background image

A background image for the Toolbar can be set in [[Options DIalog|Options]] -> [[Backgrounds_Options|Backgrounds]] or by using the [[/background]] command.
