Sidebar cursor disappearing in 1.8.9

Added by John Smith about 13 years ago

Hi,

the cursor disappears on the sidebar whenever AdiIRC is on the secondary monitor. Moving the irc client back to the primary screen fixes the cursor problem, but I prefer to keep irc/internet browsers on the second display. Is a fix possible?

I have no problem using dual screen and the sidebar on the second monitor, could you try explain your setup and does the mouse disappear just from the sidebar?

What happens is the cursor morphs into the resize cursor that lets you adjust window sizes, and stays that way everywhere in the sidebar. Clicking anywhere in the sidebar while the cursor is stuck in resize mode resizes the window, but moving the irc client back onto the primary display returns the cursor to normal.

Windows 7 x64, using a trial version of DisplayFusion 3.4.

That is a a very strange problem, i might have to make a debug build to track it down, but first, is there any options in DisplayFusion you have set you think could interfere with window resize?

After doing a little testing I've figured out the problem. My displays are setup so that monitor 1 identifies itself on the right side, and monitor 2 on the left side. Reversing this (so that monitor 1 is on the left, and monitor 2 on the right) eliminates the problem with the resizing cursor.
