Description

I change this program's volume in the volume mixer but when the highlight sounds plays, it gets set to the max overall volume

Yeah, the highlight sounds are played through the same system as /splay which incorporates it's own volume control with /vol. I'll make sure the highlight sounds volume are not altered.

For now you can revert to the old sound system by typing in the Editbox /setoption Misc UseOldSoundApi True, then restarting AdiIRC.

does that mean the highlight sound volume can be controlled using /vol?

what do you mean?

In theory yes, but there is no flags in /vol for it.

What I meant was, for next beta, the highlight sounds player will not try to set a custom volume and let windows control it instead.
