_Added in 1.9.0_ *$fgetc(name|N)* Returns the next character from current position in an open file. *Parameters* name|N - Name of the file file, or the Nth file. *Example* <pre> ; Open a file. /fopen Example Example.txt ; Add some text to the file. /fwrite Example Hello World ; Read the next character. //echo -ag Next char is: $fgetc(Example) ; Close the file. /fclose Example ; Delete the file. /remove Example </pre>
