How to bind AdiIRC to a network adapter?

Hi!

I like keeping AdiIRC tunnelled through my VPN so my IP is private on servers, channels and DCC because why not, and I like reconnecting through my VPN only just in case the VPN connection drops.

However, if anything happens with my VPN, then all is for nothing as it will reconnect and expose my real IP.

Is there any way to bind AdiIRC to a network adapter?

I know about the DCC option and about setting a proxy option.

I would use the proxy option, if the proxy is not responding, adiirc is not connecting.
