can't automatic re-connection

It depends how you connect, if you are using the serverlist you can set a "Alternative" nick.
If you are using the quick connect dialog you can set an "Alternative" in Options -> Quickconnect.
If you are using the /server command you can use -anick <alternative>
In next version there is a new serverlist where you can add as many alternative nick's as you want.
