Suggestion for issue tracker: to be able to edit the title or body of one's own entries
Added by Kostas K almost 4 years ago
Greetings
I've noticed that in the issue tracker https://dev.adiirc.com/projects/adiirc/issues
it's not possible to edit the title or body of my own entries. ( Sometimes I want to improve the wording, or add more details. )
Instead, when I click either of the two 'Edit' buttons in such a page,
it opens an "Edit" textarea, which only allows to add a comment, not modify the OP in any way ( screenshot )
So, I'd like to ask please to consider allowing to edit the title and body of one's own entries (maybe only if there are no replies).
Thank you

This tracker software was not made by me and is written in a language I don't understand so I can't modify it.
However according to https://www.redmine.org/issues/1248 it seems they added this features recently, I have enabled the option and hopefully it will work.

Thanks a lot for the quick response! It works fine: I just edited the title and body of that issue.

Great, I'll have to shorten the title though since it's gonna mess with the generated changelogs, keep them simple, use the description field for more detailed information.

I hope it's ok now, I shortened it as: "Exit via the tray icon creates a new confirmation window each time".
And I'll keep in mind to keep the titles short in the future.
Thank you
