Not sure I understand what you are asking, can you give an example?

2. Ability to force a background color and-or turn off colors on a per user basis.

To turn of the mirc colors for a single person you can use the /ignore -k command or Options -> Ignore for a user interface.

Some channels use color codes setting foreground and background colors in the channel. Some of the color combinations that channels use can be atrocious. It would be nice to be able strip the colors, for the topic without turning colors of completely.

Do you mean the topic in the Topixbox or just topics in general?

I'm sorry I should hve been more clear. I really only care about the topicbox. I having the topicbox set to sticky (great feature). With that I don't care about the topic in the channel window.
