Description

AdiIRC keeps freezing\ locking up when multi-tasked [minimized] & then when I return to it —usually I have to kill it. Happened just now & I had to close it with the Windowz 10 Not Responding dialogue box —this was when I was using Firefox: Developer Edition to check my e-mail... Please fix these crashes, it's very annoying especially 'cause I returned to this client because of its new features. Maybe I should turn off sound & unskin it from WindowBlinds 10...

Obviously this is not normal behaviour, I would try to disable windowblinds and any other program that might interfere/modify AdiIRC's normal routines and see if that changes anything.

Happened again, was able to recreate the crash —I had 21 unread messages & my tab was focused on the server, so when I tried to switch to the channel, it crashed, a few minutes ago it froze during 30 unread messages (in ICQ-Chat #Chat.) I think it's a buffer problem. Please do something about the stability, it's very frustrating. This is a worthy contender to mIRC & it's feature-laden & free so I use it —I don't pay for software, so if it comes to that, I will just switch to ChatZilla (Freeware.) P.S: Can't wait for the /ignore textmatch feature as I want to filter out the duck game bot messages. [Using Windowz 10 Pro 64bit.]

I ran it in Administrative Mode, also disabled WindowBlinds skinning on it, hopefully it will not happen again. :]

Yeah it's WindowBlinds 10, same thing happened in Pidgin till I made an exclusion for the skin. I'll think of whether to disable WindowBlinds or what.
