"Search for" under logs does not remain empty when last searched for -empty-

Description

If you open the logs and search for a channel and add text to the "Search for" list, after closing and re-opening the log search, the previously searched "Search for" remains.
Expected behavior would be that it remained empty after clearing it during the last search.
