Right-click menus can be modified in Menubar -> Tools -> Edit Menus.

as soon as I click on the menu on the channel (or pm), there are items, and all the items are clickable at the same time with the left click and right click, I would like to deactivate the right , its clicks too much for nothing sometimes all alone

I have no control over this, maybe fix your mouse or get a new one if it's broken.

my mouse works very well, I am very strict in terms of the mouse, and very often with the first item of the menu it is clicked, see even others lower, in fact when I open the menu I make it go lower in the same milisecond. I know I am not the only one facing this problem. Those who will not notice this problem are those who have the patience to observe this problem. This is an adiirc UX issue. Disabling the right click on the menu is the best solution

here are some right click flaws that I have already encountered:

- I right click to do a whois on the user, no luck the "gline" item was selected at the same time as the menu display, the user is gline.
- also sapart
- others

this kind of problem is encountered every week

As I already mentioned. I have no control over the click event of the menu. It works the same in adiirc as it does in any windows menu, this is controlled by windows, not adiirc.

I just tested on mIRC, the right click has no effect on each menu item

There is surely something similar to this https://www.codeinwp.com/snippets/disable-right-click-context-menu/ but for the windows program

Test it in windows explorer, anyways as I have mentioned two times now, I have no option or control to disable right-clicklng in the types of menus adiirc uses. If mirc is working better for you, I suggest using that instead.

Ah yes I just saw for Windows Explorer

Finally I was wrong, the problem is not in the cnal nor in pm but only on the nicklist and its menu of the right lcic, maybe it would be necessary to go down the menu of 1 or 2 pixels lower of the pointer.

And no I don't want to use mIRC, I got used to AdiIRC, I put my opinion here on AdiIRC: https://www.wiki-irc.com/Comparer_entre_AdiIRC_et_mIRC
I prefer AdiIRC, but there are just 2 or 3 things wrong and then it would be perfect

Hi Per Amundsen

I may have discovered something new:

On Windows Explorer, when you right click the menu opens only once

But on AdiIRC by right-clicking once with the problem, won't it sometimes open twice? It's not my mouse that clicks twice (impossible), from time to time the menu on AdiIRC it opens twice, sometimes there is a delay with an opening then very quickly the window closes and turns on again 0,01 seconds later

@Per Amundsen
I don't click like this:
- just right click on each item
I never do this one! I never use this one and I don't intend to start now.

I always do like this:
- I first click right on an item and then I change item then I click left, the problem only occurs here

For all that I have written in this forum for months, it concerns only for that!
