Hello,

I am using the 20230419 beta and was testing #5691 and the progressing speed is more than 20 seconds, due that period the adiirc and firefox ( 112.0.1 ) both are in a stucking (aka not responding) state that i cannot click anything.

I also tested in a friend Windows 10 machine while using firefox and having almost 10-15 active tabs and couldn't return the active url. was always $null returned.

It's normal for $url to be slow, depending on how many process are currently running, although 20 is a little extreme.

Both AdiIRC and firefox must be the either 32 or 64 bits, are they? Also $url only works for firefox when tab bar is enabled, are you hiding it with userchrome?

The machine that i use to run the $url is not under heavy load (neither 10% cpu usage and ram), indeed the tabs number that i having in firefox is > 30 .

As for the case that $url is $null in Windows 10, i saw in rawlog debug some info maybe this would be helpful.

Yes the tabs are active in browser due testing.

It's not clear whether your tab bar is visible or not. Are you using a firefox extension that provides sidebar tabs, such as https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tree-style-tab/ or similar?

From my testing, $url in firefox does not seem to work when using sidebar tabs, other browsers doesn't seem to have this issue.
