Description

Hi

If you send a link like "https//www.google.com" in channel or pm, is there also a bug in the link on AdiIRC Beta latest version or the problem comes from the IRC server Unrealircd 6.1 .1?

Regards

There are no problem sending or receiving links, links are just text, can you be a little more specific about the problem? Also try disable any scripts.

Ah I just tried on mIRC, it seems to have the same bug, it may be Unrealircd 6.1.1.1
I try to understand, I have to think

looks like unrealircd 6.1.1.1 adds this character between "https://" and the link

PA Updated by Per Amundsen about 2 years ago Actions #4

That's the bold character (CTRL+B), adiirc strips them out from links.

ah ok. I found the problem, in fact on mirc and adiirc when I copy the link by selecting it once, it copies it strangely, I retyped the link on the keyboard letter by letter without copying and everything is fine

I know there is something weird with links copied from youtube, it seems to break the editbox and also notepad (they are the same control).

Glad you figured it out.

yes it does everywhere the problem, adiirc, mirc, and client web irc, maybe a Windows 11 bug too?!
Or Firefox

If it's the link from youtube, it's been there as long as I can remember, including windows 7.
