Wine¶

Installing AdiIRC in Wine on 64 bit Ubuntu.

Install Wine¶

Type:

apt-get install wine

Download Winetricks¶

Type:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Winetricks/winetricks/master/src/winetricks
chmod +x winetricks

Create a 32 bit Wine prefix¶

Type:

WINEPREFIX="$HOME/prefix32" WINEARCH=win32 wine wineboot

Install .NET¶

If you downloaded the .NET 2.0 version type:

./winetricks dotnet20

If you downloaded the .NET 4.5 version type:

./winetricks dotnet45

After .NET is installed, you should be able to run AdiIRC by typing:

wine AdiIRC.exe
