mouse + paste

How to highlight text with mouse to clipboard and paste it in adilrc into a channel? i know usually it works by left click of the mouse holding it higlight the text to the right & once down highlighting let go of the button, that copys the text into clipboard. than ctrl + v to paste it.Any idea where the setting might be? checked all over cant seem to find it,thanks

nope , same thing text stays higlighted for couple seconds than disapears, when i try Ctrl +v nothing pastes, or even when right clicking and going down the list to paste nothing can be done.

Not sure why it doesn't work for you, not heard of anyone else with such a problem.

is it possible that it is installed as portable.?

No, if I had to guess, I would check if you have any programs or Windows modifications that could interfere with AdiIRC.

nah, as copy and paste works on browsers fine. and notepad etc.

That doesn't matter since this is not a normal copy triggered by CTRL + C, it's triggered by releasing the mouse button and I guessed because there has been weird problems in the past when users are using things such as WindowBlinds and other Windows modifications.

ok, not that i can recall useing of such but will look into it. thanks. If i figure it out i will repost solution.

Also maybe check if there are any Clipboard related errors in Menubar -> File -> Rawlog in the "Debug" tab.
