in the attached image below you can see the beginning of the second line starts under the clock ... so is it possible to make it (and all the other lines from the same chatter) start under the the nickname ?

You can try enable the Nick column.

how to enable it? i went to options monitor panels channel messages and checked show nickcolumn ... but nothing happened

You check "Use nick column" then either check the "Expand nick column on long nicks" option or manually set "Nick column width" to the width you want.
