Unicode does not display correctly
Added by Noi Sek over 13 years ago.
Updated about 13 years ago.
Description
AdiIRC seems to implement unicode support, but does not display some of the unicode characters even with language packs installed and using fully unicode compliant fonts when they are put in a channel topic. An example of this can be seen here:
http://puu.sh/2Cm2
The intended result can be seen on the bottom, and the actual displayed characters are on the top.

Yes, they are both AdiIRC with a dark theme.
Would you say it only display wrong on text with colors/link ?
Just wondering why they show correctly in one message and not the other.

Have you tested it yourself? It could be my environment, but I doubt that. It does the same thing on two computers.

I tried replicate this in the current beta version, but with UTF-8 enabled, it shows the same topic/message, i suggest trying the latest beta if you are not already using it.
