passive DCC wont work
I just can not seem to DCC passive to work in adiIrc ,i've set my ports exactly the same as in mirc and what is port forwarded in my router, dcc passive is enabled in settings ,I can get DCC passive to work in MIRc
the only difference in MIRC is that im able to set my hostame and ip adress under local settings ,which im presuming its makeing it work in MIRC
but where is this setting in AdiIRC as to get passive DCC connections to work?
thanks for any help

You can try set this to your external ip address https://dev.adiirc.com/projects/adiirc/wiki/Dcc_Options#Bind-to-adapter-or-IP-address

I am assuming somebody is sending you a file passively.
Open Menubar -> File -> Rawlog, the next time someone sends you a file passivly and it doesn't work, check the Rawlog tab associated with the server for the DCC SEND messages and then check the Rawlog "Debug" tab for any DCC related error messages, copy the messages and/or the DCC errors along with a screenshot of your Options -> DCC settings and your external ip address and email it to email@example.com and I'll have a look.
Also make sure your open ports matches the port range in Options -> DCC.
